Professional SummarySkillsWork HistoryM M19 Old Belchertown Rd., Ware, MA 01082 PHONE NUMBER AVAILABLE EMAIL AVAILABLE With what I learn in my high school courses and college I learned that set a schedule up was most important for my work. It also show me that whenever something had gone awry, I would have to leave somethings aside for the betterment of production and the final outcome of this. This happen quickly after I entered the foundry when I saw that making something right was much better than multi-producing a job. This last point would often end up with scap casting and more work the next day to reproduce them in order come out at point zero again. This went on to my days as a dishwasher. If you went to fast, you might break article or have them come out as being unclean. I was usually good at planning the day out eitherfor myself or my men in the two majorworkplaces that i was in. I tried to see ahead for the next thing on the agenda of things to do. Ivery rarely pushed my workers and quite oftenfilled in spots that were lacking in the help. Since I as a foreman, I would stay for the entire melt to assist the others in the pourring of the largermain floor moulds which often needed twoporers and two crane operators. I would run theside floor rope crane in order to assist the pourer and make a possible 3-4 runs at this job per melt. and then start the whole thing over again the next day.Dishwasher, 04/1997 to 12/2016The Colony Club Springfield, MAWorked 9-5 at upscale restaurant washing dishes, glasses, coffee cups silverware, pot & pans sheet trays etc. replace cleaned dishes, glasses etc. to their designated areas. In a.m. bring glassware to bar. At 2:30 or so sweep, mop the floor, remove trash to Educationcomputer, reading, travelcompactors. In spare time I would peel potatoes and onions. I was also in charge of polishing silverware and other silver coat trays and stands. If any spills occurred I would be there to mop them up as well as sweep up any mess that might happen. From time to time I would clean out the sink trap. The last thing I would do is clean out the dishwasher and prepare it for the next shift. As mentioned above, I would keep all plates, glasses, cups and pots pans well stocked. I had once provided a complete inventory of all plates glasses etc., which also included buffet equipment and other polished equipment and utensils. I was often called to work after my shift to help night dishwasher or if they didn't arrive; as well as prepare to work overtime after my shift was done. I started as the day (9-5) dishwasher and then received raise after two weeks to become the main (3-4 nights) night dishwasher. Within a month I received another small raise when asked to return to full time day dishwasher. I would normally receive a dollar raise until the last few years when business slowed down but, I still had a job there.Moulder, 02/1975 to 06/1992ChasG. Allen,Inc. Barre, MAMade moulds from 6-12. At12:30, we prepare the moulds for the melt by putting on metal jackets and placing weights on top of them. We would then pour the iron and after a bit, shakeout the castings which were poured. We would search for the smaller casting in order to get as many as we could and send them to the scratchroom for sandblasting. As a foremen I would do the above, helping my men. I would also start every day get the main jobs ready for my men and get the needed cores as well as cutting stock cores for certain jobs from time to time. I would keep track of what was made in order know was left for each job. I would report the daily work to the foundry office by delivering the men's work cards. I would also make sand for the production of the moulds and deliver it by pay loader. Associates: Business Mangement, 1992Fisher Jr. College - Ware,MACollege: Algebra, Englis French And History, 1973Ware High School - Ware, MAMy computer is a past time that I usually do about three times a day until my job hunting started. reading is something I do everyday by reading the newspaper, doing (or try to do) the crossword puzzles, jumble and crypto- grams. I also read books and the Reader's Digest. My travel is usually into Maine and sometimes to Lake George in New York. I have gone to Canada when I was in the Boy Scouts as well as on my own with my dad in tow. I also have been to France twice, Paris and then a circling type trip starting and ending in Paris going around the Loire River valley. The museums in Paris are finest kind, as you say in Maine.
