My direct support enables JMTC to equip our military war fighters with the most effective and lethal tools and technology needed to fight and win. I am responsible for daily planning and running specific projects and operations through the manufacturing process to ensure assigned projects met or exceed customer requirements. I am responsible for advising on inventory and or supply activities on a variety of material requirements and production schedule due dates. I also schedule and control primary work assignments to manufacturing activities based upon production line or shop capacity, priority, and due date. It is incumbent on me to determine the status of work in progress, time required to complete the job, the availability of materials, tools required, and reassesses priorities based on customer delivery needs. I use the sum of my manufacturing process experience to expedite jobs in progress by appropriate means and monitor, record, and report the status of production funding. In support of these duties I assist in performing the following functions: Assist to prepare production orders for release to the manufacturing floor Assist to ensure parts, prints, tooling, tool kits, and fixtures have been delivered and for released production orders using Automated Tooling Inventory Control Tracking System (ATICTs) Performing selection transactions for material from storage locations and coordinate movements to and from various work /cost centers Assist in resolving manufacturing production problems tooling problems, program problems, and material shortages and or discrepancies. Assist in resolving capacity bottlenecks, and report expected time of completion as required. Coordinate the return of excess raw material to multiple inventory locations. Coordinate the movement of in-process material by routing and expediting parts. Maintains shop floor inventory of end item component assemblies and sub-assemblies, part bins for inspection, assembly and production operations. Maintain shop floor inventory and dispatching / issuing various inspection crib material. Use of SAP automated systems which I use to track and make a record of the manufacturing process flows and to create production and procurement schedules for finished products and component materials. Use of Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) to interpret, plan, coordinate and service functions required to carry out my manufacturing activities. Use of Computer Aided Manufacturing Software (CAMS) to interpret, plan, manage, transport, and store raw material and components required in the manufacturing process. Familiar with the following Computer Aided Manufacturing Software (CAMS) and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) transactions: ZCAT2, LT01, LB10, MIGO, LT24, LS25, IW37N, and Work in Progress(WIP). On a daily basis I generate production material move tags to multiple departments within JMTC to the correct cost centers and building locations. Train new employees on the correct process to move material within JMTC. Forklift Lead Operator Warehouse, (Full-Time Position 40 plus hours) Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling, Rock Island, Illinois, May 2007 ~ December 2018Duties Include: As a forklift operator for this logistics services company I worked in Inventory Warehouse Management applying time study principals and space management. I drove various warehouse machines which included sit down, standing and rider/walkie forklifts. I picked orders to be processed and performed quantitative inventory cycle counts. As a forklift operator, it was my responsibility to: Operate forklift trucks with a capacity of 10,000 pounds to load and unload, stack and un-stack, re-warehouse, and move boxes, crates, pallets, components, or loose items. It was incumbent on me to regulate the movement and position of material to avoid overloading or improper stacking or movement of supplies and materials. Reviewed and analyzed customers problems, provided reasonable recommendations / suggestions for the required repair. Responsible for daily opening and closing of business. Operated cash register, customer accounts, maintenance logs, prepare deposits, and register cash outs. Fill grease cups and oil reservoirs to proper levels determined by use of various types of testing equipment such as using pressure gauges, lubricating books, and or measuring sticks. Fill oil and or hydraulic reservoirs with specified hydraulic oils or fluids. Drain, flush, and refills problem areas with fresh lubricant after consulting specified lubrication charts at specific periods of time to maintain current operation of machinery and or engines. Installs and removes grease and air filters, adjusting filters to fit space requirements, utilizing the various hand tools as mentioned above. Cleans industrial equipment, engines and machinery that use water-soluble coolants. Utilizes power washers, high pressure cleaning compounds. Fill coolant sumps to correct levels with proper fluids, exercising care not to mix various types of coolants. Fill supply tanks and returns dirty chemicals / lubricants for recycling or disposal. Used forklift to move waste tubs to proper locations on site to maintain the environmental safety requirements of the business. Operates an automatic coolant recovery system that utilizes two separate processes to recycle dirty coolant and or oil to reclaim or clean fluids used in the operation. Ran normal tests on coolant for bacteria, fungi, and pH concentration. From tests, determine if coolant would be recycled or disposed of. Coolant that is to be recycled is taken to the proper area and chemical(s) added. Coolant is poured through a strainer/separator, and the flow is adjusted / slowed to remove all oils. Adjustments are made for various concentration levels and pH levels. Operated a deionizer to keep water at proper readings.
