ExperienceOctober 2017 to June 2018Arcia & Associates, Spring Valley, NY - Receptionist/Translator I worked as a Receptionist/Translator at Arcia & Associates office. I used to work at the front desk picking the phone calls, scheduling appointments for the customers, and I was in charge of the payments. However most of our customers were Hispanic people that just speak Spanish. My manager assigned me to be a translator. When the people came to the office my duty was to translate Spanish to English and English to Spanish, making sure that my manager and the customer could have a better conversation and understand how our company works and how we can help the customers.December 2018-March 2020Social Apparel, Palisades Center Mall- Sales Associate & Cashier Job Title Social Apparel is a Dresses Store. I worked at Social Apparel from December 2018 to March 2020. As being a Sales Associate my responsibility was to welcome all the customers that get in in our store, be very friendly and respectful with them. Also I used to help the customers pick the right dress that they were looking for and gave them more options of the different types of dress that we had at the store. My responsibility was also to put the dresses in the right place, organize them and maintain a very clean store. I worked as a cashier and my responsibilities were to charge the customer for the purchases they made.May 2020- Present timeFedEx Ground, Blauvelt NY- Package Handler/ OPS Administration FedEx is a big company with a lot of opportunities. I started working at this company in May from 2020 until the present time. My first position at Fedex was a Package handler, my work was to scan the packages that we got during the sort and put them in the right truck number. Also I had to load the packages to the truck so the driver can find the packages in a very organized position. During the Holidays Months since October I get a position in OPS Administration. During these busy days as an OPS Administration my duty was to work on the unload side taping the broking boxes that needed tape. Sometimes we get torn or wet packages that need to be repacked in a clean and nice 2box, my job was to repack the items that were inside the torn or wet box and send to the customer in another box. I worked in the chutes where we get the packages that come as 999s packages. Meaning that they need to be put in the system that is called Vision Address Update ( VAU) or sometimes they need a right address. To have done this job we have to use the MC which is a machine where you scan the package and all the information comes to it and make it easy for you to have done this job. Also in the chutes came the open boxes that need tape, packages without the vision label that we had to scan with our machines and find & write to which belt the boxes go. After the sort finish we have our different belts to go. My belt was #3 where I had packages that came in the 300s and I had to wait for the driver contractor so he could check what truck number the packages went to. There is times that the contractor says that the package have a wrong address or need a street # or suite#, and apt# They called them 02s . A 02 for mean that something is wrong with the address of the package and need to be fixed, I have to use the MC to find in the system the right address or sometimes we have to call the customer to ask them the right address. As an OPS Administration also the packages that were completely damaged that we code 39 and we had to do a report on those damages.EducationSEPTEMBER 2013- JUNE 2017NORTH ROCKLAND HIGH SCHOOL, THIELLS NY High School Diploma GPA 92.5 Some collegeAwards Honor Rolls certificate Principal Rolls certificate Hispanic Heritage Month Award Certificate |
