Supporting the overall business by providing both routine and emergent clinical nursing care to site employees, occupational health services for employees/contractors, conduct disability case management for assigned locations and establishes/manages/promotes SABIC employee health-related programs and processes.Responsibilities: Provides nursing oversight to the professional Health Service staff(one contract nurse). Manages medical department budgets, including salaries, supplies,equipment, and contracted professional services. Medically treats patients within scope of practice and licensing. Coordinates medical treatment with outside medical providers forwork related injuries/illness. Provides occupational nursing service for Mt. Vernon, In. Delivers comprehensive non-occupational disability and workerscompensation case management for Mt. Vernon, IN location Serves as a liaison between employees, human resources, functional managers, healthcare providers and benefits administrators for clinical case management, benefits coordination and transitional work opportunities Involved in the development, maintenance, and promotion of business health, quarterly wellness programs, committees, and prevention strategies including program research and site benefit fairs. Collaborates with EHS Managers to develop and manage medical surveillance (compliance) testing, safety-training, ergonomic employee monitoring, hearing conservation, respiratory programs, blood borne pathogens program, drug free workplace and fitness for duty programs  Provide business with medical function support in SABICs Safety, Health & Environmental Standards (SHEMs) implementation and on- going program management Reports and assists in the investigation of Workers Compensation claims and OSHA incidents and filings Manages pre-placement screenings. and random substance abuse testing processes Manage Urine Drug Screen Program.
