My role with Lamperts started off as a yard worker/counter sales for the first
year and a half. I would help customers find products that they needed and help
them load their materials. I would also build loads and deliver them as needed,
ranging from building house packages to helping deliver drywall. At the start of
2023 USLBM did a company wide layoff and that involved one of our outside
sales reps being let go. At that time I decided to take the opportunity to try to
become an inside salesman and took over the main account for a big contractor
that mainly deals in roofing. Along with taking him on I have also started selling
windows and interior and exterior doors, along with window and siding packages.
