I feel that my skills and experiences are a great match for your current need. Below are some highlights
of what I can bring to the table.
Thank you for your consideration!
Sincerely,
Candidate's Name
Experienced requirements gathering.
I am highly skilled in collaborating with varying business units, product owners, project stakeholders and
end users to fully understand the needs of all parties involved in a Salesforce project or platform
configuration changes. It is imperative to always ensure that all needs are met and any configuration
changes are fully understood by all involved, agreed upon and approved before any building takes place.
Excellent communicator.
I believe that above all else, communication and understanding between all involved teams, users and
stakeholders regarding any platform work or implementations is the foundation for success. Not only
just at the beginning of a project but throughout the entire process and after the work is complete as
well. Inevitably, unexpected surprises, conflicts and delays can and will pop up during the course of
platform work being completed and after deployment as well.
My strong belief is that more issues than necessary can arise from lack of communication and everyone
involved needs to, at the least, be made aware of any issues, delays, etc. that happen along the way, as
we are all working towards one main goal, the completion of the work and the process improvements
for users and stakeholders! It can at times seem tedious to maintain that strong focus on keeping
everyone on the same page and aware of current status and progress but I always strive to keep the
communication channels in every direction, open and continuously flowing as much as possible.
Usable Documentation.
In my opinion, the most important aspect of documentation is to ensure that it is usable documentation.
Of course, I believe that archiving system changes, new and changed processes and platform How-To s is
vitally important but just as important is to produce succinct and usable documentation! Since my
earliest days in IT, I have always felt very strongly about the need for documentation, the benefits it
provides for end users, other project stakeholders and future employees / co-workers is invaluable and
can make things so much easier. I absolutely love creating documentation, whether it be a relatively
simple PDF with screenshots detailing a How-To for users or a PowerPoint presentation or Word doc
detailing in-depth technical information. It certainly can be time consuming sometimes but is always
well worth the effort.
