research explored the continuous rise of the drug epidemic among the youth in East Harlem. It elaborated on the
attempts to implement drug resistance methods, discovers how the problem began, explains ethical theories behind
drug abuse, incorporates statistics of adolescent drug abuse over time, connects the issue to another community and
global issue, and incorporates an analysis of East Harlem throughout the decades and proposed solutions.
