While I was in the United States Army, I was responsible for structural integrity of Airborne equipment and
airborne equipment repair, the packing of parachutes of all sizes and testing of all airborne equipment
and continuous updating of all technical manuals related to my field of work. I also assisted in preparing

Parachute Rigger
4th Quatermaster Detachment Company-Busan
May 2002 to May 2004
Upon arriving in Country, I was placed in the heavy pack unit at the Gimhae Airport Rigger Facility, in
South Korea. I was taught in even more detail the packing of parachutes of all sizes, learned and helped
with the preparation of the drop zone for parachutists prior to exiting the aircraft to ensure that safety
was first at all times. G-12 parachute packs were some of our shop's specialty while also assisting in the
packing of personnel parachutes for personal unit use or another unit's use. As a unit we were part of
the 200-foot tower parachute shakeout after jumps, and I worked extra hard to be one of the brightest,

is always paramount, since lives are at risk with even the slightest mistake.
