To address ethical issues and guarantee the proper usage of computer equipment, I created an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). This policy includes instructions on passwords, user restrictions, stopping pointless services, and blocking pointless ports. Lastly, to correctly satisfy objectives, I logged member successes and informed other captains of information and progress. Documentation can be provided upon request.Cisco Packet Tracer Network ProjectUsing Cisco Packet Tracer, I had to set up a network for a corporation that had four sites. Together with my partner, I set up four LANs, each including two PCs, a switch, and a router. Then, to provide separate data storage for every site, we added a server to each LAN. Using the four routers, we created a comprehensive mesh network and set everything up so that every packet could always reach its destination. Documentation can also be provided upon request.Python Password ProjectI created a program that enables users to exit the menu, verify their password, and modify the default password. The user is prompted by the program to input "1" to modify their password, "2" to confirm their password, or "3" to exit the menu. The application quits after alerting the user of a wrong entry if any other number is entered. Option 1 allows the user to enter a new password after first requesting the default password. The new password is instantly encrypted and set as the new password if it satisfies the necessary requirements. The program notifies the user of the requirements and returns to the starting menu if the conditions are not satisfied. Option 2 prompts the user to enter the default password and then it explains its validity before returning to the menu. Option 3 ends the program, requiring the user to press run again to restart it. The program can be accessed here.HTML Sensor Night Light ProjectUsing two of the three fundamental programs from the STEM Lingo kit (these consisted of a distance-tracking sensor, a flashing light, and a buzzer that could play a song) I created a unique product. Like a modern paper towel dispenser, I programmed the sensor to activate the light when something got close enough. The light stays on until the program is reset, simulating a child waving their hand to turn on the light before going to sleep and turning it off manually in the morning. Here is the program, a YouTube video demonstration, and the STEM Lingo Kit website (take into consideration that the kit has since been updated).RELEVANT COURSESProgramming & Development: Computing Principles, Java, Intro to Python, Data Structures, Intro to Databases, MATLABOS & Admin: Client OS, Linux OS, Server Admin I & II, Unix Admin, PC Architecture, OS SecurityNetworking & Security: TCP/IP Protocols, Cloud Computing, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, Cryptography, Big Data StructuresAWARDS, BADGES, HONORS, AND RECOGNITIONSCAE-CD Certificate - Department of Homeland Security & NSADeans List Fall & Spring 2023Oracle Learning Explorer Oracle Java BadgeCisco Networking Academy Introduction to Packet Tracer BadgeDon S.
