Pick up weekly donations at Safeway in Beaverton (Murray/Allen) at 9:00 on Friday mornings and bring them to Tigard. Pick up donations from the Tualatin food pantry on occasion. Work with Shelly on all staff obtaining food handler cards. Enforce guest guidelines, including COVID-19 guidelines as set by the State and open door housing works Check in guests during designated check-in times. Supervise guests and respond quickly and appropriately to any potential issues or conflicts that may arise. Check in guests each day and secure/check bags. Facilitate timely transitions for guests. Responsible for setup, dinner, and additional shelter operation needs in the evenings with a focus on customer service and cleanliness. Prepare dinner for serving. Serve dinner restaurant-style to all guests. Sanitize and wipe down tables, chairs, and surface areas in the kitchen. Ensure a clean and sanitary environment throughout the entire shelter. Distribute linens for the beds (sheet, pillow/pillowcase, blanket). Perform additional tasks as assigned by our shelter coordinator.
