There are two areas in both backlites and windshields called Jnap and Mack. As part of the process, when an order dropped, I would scan the lot which held the part that was needed, and then I would scan the part itself. After that, the part would be removed from the lot that it was in and then placed into its' assigned slot in another rack (which would be used to send out the order). After the part was placed into its' slot, I would scan the sequence number which is printed onto a label by the company after the lot and part were scanned. The label is placed in a designated area on the windshield and/or backlite, and then I would scan the slot label. Once the rack was complete, a three part label would print and I would have to place those three labels onto the rack, close the latches on the rack, and finally, wait for it to be picked up. I worked in both windshields, backlites and Warren windshields (they are bigger than the others).Assembly Line WorkerEvans Distribution Systems - Melvindale, MIJuly 2021 to July 2022I worked the line. Every season required line workers to do a different job, but still revolved around loading the line. From mid Winter to late Spring, the line workers would handle pallets carrying boxes of girl scout cookies. Our job was to open the boxes, remove the girl scout cookie boxes and dump them on the line in an orderly manner. We were also responsible for discarding any loose cardboard and empty pallets, as well as removing any damaged boxes of girl scout cookies from the line and put them aside to be inspected and counted later. From the summer to the fall roughly, we handle Crown Royal. As line workers, we're given a box cutter and are required to remove the tops of the boxes carrying the liquor bottles. Those boxes are then placed on the line. The bottles are then removed by another associate at the front of that line and carefully placed into plastic trays moving down the conveyor belt. Assembly Line WorkerPak-Rite Industries - Ecorse, MIJuly 2019 to April 2020Line workers were responsible placing any and all relevant parts or pieces to the orders into packaging boxes, which were then stacked onto a wooden pallet, wrapped in plastic and tagged. Side note: I also worked in sortation, both "standard" and "extended". In sortation we would place the packages that would come from the assembly line, into bins (and/or separate pallets) according to Bin and Bulk.EducationGEDSkills Assembly Packaging Warehouse Experience (10+ years) Mechanical Knowledge Quality Inspection Landscape Maintenance Lawn Care Order Picking Materials Handling Cooking Load & Unload Pallet Jack Mowing Shipping & Receiving Quality Control Machining Microsoft Word Cleaning ExperienceLanguages English - Expert |
