I would run wire through a machine that wrapped around airplane cable and made a sewer snake. I would have to change out machine tooling and change rollers for different wire to get ran through the machine to make different size snakes. I would have to make my own tooling to by running the tooling on a grinding wheel and buffer. I would have to use micrometers to get the snakes to the right diameter. I would have to run a minimum of 50 a day so it was consistent replacing tooling and rollers. I would then take the snakes to a booth and weld male attachments on one end and the other end got a female attachment. I have also ran a machine that winds the snakes up to a circle and put on racks to get warmed. I was a foreman here at one time to. When a machine when down I had to repair it. I've had a lot of hydraulic lines blow to so i was always messing with a hydraulic system. I've had to repair the company truck and forklifts to. I flew them to a holding pit and chalked them up to weld a metal stub on the top of the ingot. After welding it I would fly it over to the machine and put it in a machine that would melt it with slag to make metal into stainless steel and I would operate the system and machine for long periods of time. I used a skid steer to clean up the mess it left after the melt process was completed. We would then put the remelted ingots in a heated furnace and kept them to a certain temperature. I was always working on water lines and hydraulic systems due to the heat from the remelt. I left this job because of fear of shut down to to losing a claim cert in our one other building which was the heart of the company. I worked on the companies skid steer and a big rear steer forklift that can move up to 30,000 pounds. I've rebuilt the cummins motor in those alot. I've also made my own hydraulic lines. Welder/FabricatorCorporation - Pittsburgh, PASeptember 2013 to April 2015At 1994 corporation I was a welder, fabricator, cnc machinist, cmm and maintenance technician. I would make steel buildings for commercial companies and I would run the machine to make the sides of the building and always switching dyes and programming the numbers for the crimps, I would then weld the bottom of the buildings to a base plates to either get cemented or bolted into the ground. I would use an overhead crane to set up the machine to run the building sides and to weld the bottoms on. I've done maintenance work to the machines and cranes. I would always have to fix the machines hydraulic system because sometimes the filters would get metal shavings in it and cause it to leak then break open. The reason I left is they had no room for advancement. I worked on the companies forklift, tri axle truck and the overhead cranes.
