With the PLC running I begin to debug the ladder logic programs. HMI screens are built or modified so the required functionality exists to support the process. I work with the mechanical engineers, skilled trades and customers to debug the machine functionality. Prior to machine shipment, I participated in the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test). The FAT identifies any problems or issues with the machine before it is shipped to the purchaser. I follow the machine into the field or factory floor to ready equipment for production. Majority of my recent PLC experience is with A-B ControlLogix.Alkar RapidPak, Lodi, WI Feb 2020 - Jan 2022Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer (contract assignment)PLC ladder logic programming and debug of food processing ovenscontrolled by an A-B CompactLogix.Isthmus Engineering and Mfg, Madison, WI May 2019 - Dec 2019Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer (contract assignment)PLC ladder logic programming and commissioning of automated assembly machines that assembled industrial water filters.
