Part of the job also was I had to run front loader(938 & 950) to be exact, I would dig in a pile of mixed up clay and then pour it in to a shoot until it was full had to do it 1-2 per hour depending on speed of the line . Then I was asked to switch to overnight as a mill Forman, which entailed me learning to moving parts of the machines . I had to make sure the clay wasnt to wet,or the pipes would get clogged up, and I had to make sure everything was running properly and the Mac tank and the dryer tank wasnt clogging up, also had to check a sample of clay every hour on the dot to make sure the clay was properly dry enough and wasnt to wet . Two times a week I would have to climb to the top of the silo and grease all the fitting in the plant .
