Quickbooks software was used for a 130 bed Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility. ACHA governances and a HUD mortgage required an annual audit by an outside CPA firm from February to May 2023 (annually)with no faults. HUD required a Rent Roll for every month listing all units with rent assigned to each unit. Equal to Revenues on Profit and Loss for each month-must coincide. Updated all move-ins and move-outs as each resident pays first and last months rent - a portion is refundable if proper notice is submitted. Residents receiving Medicaid assistance had to be submitted to Medicaid in order to receive stipend.Posted all rent payments to residents accounts, sent out bills by 15th of each month. New residents info came from the marketing dept. with a contract, entered into Quickbooks, last months rent deferred until earned.Massive redo required to bring the balance sheet up to date. All accounts payable were sent live checks signed by owner due to predecessor embezzlement. Check deposits sent remotely, bank statements reconciled monthly prior to preparing P&L, adjusting general journal entries made prior to completing financials statements with history, sent to owners, members of the Board. Monthly board meetings held if all principals were available on site /otherwise emailed.As HR/ manager took on this role as well due to 4 month vacancy
Level II security clearance required, handbook changes made eliminating OT, in the prior year totaled $130000.
