The managers then promoted me as a  Front End Manager. I worked as a customer service representative, which requires great listening skills and always answering phone calls. It also meant running in circles, assisting my coworkers with customers and their computer systems. Price checking, cleaning messes left behind, bagging orders, loading customers' cars, promoting our discount card, and even jumping on my own register to get people out of the store quicker. I helped ensure customers would return. As  manager I was given the duty of sending my coworkers to break in order to guarantee we had as many employees up front for checkout. .This further included lotting out lottery tickets, and balancing register tills, while finishing the safety security deposit every night. Prior to closing the Gas N Go, I checked behind employees before releasing them, watching for stray buggies or baskets, a vacuumed carpet, tidy bathroom, bags and registers are cleared and cleaned, and lastly trash changes. This was the best job I had ever had, due to registering for school it was my time to leave. White Star Dry Cleaning April 2024 - July 30 2024I was trained as an up front customer associate. Though my title suggested more than I was hired for, I set up customers who were picking up for checkout, fetching their orders and ringing them though while ensuring customer satisfaction. If a customer was not satisfied, I suggested we run it through again for a redo free of charge. When customers dropped off an order I also checked for stains, checked pockets, searching for any damage when received, and marking them in for identification. There I logged the material or fabrics of the garment, the brand name, who it belonged to, and which cleaning system it should be sent though. Sometimes I was assigned to racking finished orders, spitting pieces into designated areas for pickup. Though some days I worked with production in the back due to a shortage of employees. There I bagged comforters and dresses. I also shook clothes out, assorting them to specific hangers, inspecting each garment for special attention or rush tags. Orders were put together in the back using heatseals as miniature barcodes, telling the garment's history and how many went to a piece. With a two piece order or more, a tie was stuck around the hangers and hung for a bagging machine. I no longer work here as of 07/30/24 due to no pay increase when I joined production. I was paid less than my peers who had begun after me. I felt I was being taken advantage of for the position I was hired for.Interests:My career objective is to provide an outstanding service for the role provided using interpersonal skills.
