Direct responsibility for a $ 20 million budget, a staff of 10 telecommunication analysts/engineers, 2 consultants, and 4 regional analysts (Europe, Canada, Asia Pacific, Americas). Additional responsibilities include managing the RFP process, monitoring vendor activities, identifying strategic vendors, and clearly relating UPSs requirements and expectations to each vendor. Architected, designed, and managed the deployment of Public Frame Relay networks in Europe, Latin America, Canada, and the Asia Pacific regions. Network architecture includes multi-protocol routers at 500 locations in 48 countries supporting over 1600 permanent virtual circuits.
