MIG and Stick weld and fabrication of various metals/alloys to build, improve or repair equipment,
machines and jigs. Daily routine visual walkthrough inspection of entire facility, including restrooms,
break rooms, and Administrative offices. Routine/Preventative Maintenance and repair of forklifts, kettle
components, hoists and overhead bridge cranes. Basic knowledge of 480v/three-phase circuitry including
breakers, docking lights, conduit, junctions, outlets, proper PPE, and Firebox controls. Ordering of
parts, materials, supplies and services. Coordinated with vendors and contractors for parts, materials,
inspections and other services business related. Delegated tasks to other shift maintenance teams.
Assisted when needed while on or off on-call duty status. Acting Supervisor while Supervisor on leave.
Accurate and orderly record-keeping. Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout, ARC Flash, Boomlift, Scissorlift,
Forklift, Safety Harness, and CPR and AED trained. Safety-oriented, adhering to OSHA regulations and
Company Standards. Helped improve function of plant by consistent troubleshooting and upgrade of
machinery and/or components. Plant was able to run a 3rd shift, as well as build an additional kettle line.
