In high school I took media production for 4 years and learned how to edit, anchor, direct, and write scripts. I have taken several college courses to help pursue my dream like, speech courses, interview courses, and play-by-play courses.ObjectiveI want to continue diving deeper into my media career to learn the ins and outs of the sports media industry. Within those 4 years I picked up a few tricks on editing, directing, and writing scripts.
I also helped kick start Miami s local Twitch podcast Sportswithseb. With new episodes almost every week, this has been something I have been working on for almost two years now to help get me prepared for my next opportunity. On air I cover the NBA and NFL news that is happening throughout the week, as well as any Prize Picks (Player betting) that I may have for the games that day. I also keep everyone updated on Instagram, Twitter, and Tik-Tok with the latest sports news and updates.
In college I atteneded a hands-on class at FIU where I did live play-by-plays of the football games. My partner and I did a play by play for the FIU football game vs Western Kentucky, learning how to properly call the game, like the terms you should use, when to raise your voice on a good play. It was a great overall experience learning how to call the game and I learned a lot of little skills that will help me in the future. |
