ASR International contracted me to work at Kennedy Space Center (Keops, NASA), for one year, as a Senior Structural Engineer., from August 2021 to September 2022. Job consisted in supervising the upgrade of structures that were damaged by corrosion and Hurricanes, reviewing the Wind loads, supervising the construction of new concrete bases for electrical heavy equipment, supervising the installation of new piping for fire protection equipment, reviewing the design of a solar panel farm project, and as a consultant to solve structural problems.Celtic Engineering, Windermere, Florida, contracted me as a Structural Engineer II, from November 2022 to September 2023. Job consisted in the design of interior high walls, for a new Universal Studios Building, using steel studs, drywall, (SSMA Standards), and SAP 2000 for calculations; review shop drawings to verify that these were done according to Celtic Engineering s project; and the structure for a 6 floor high Hotel at Walton Beach, Florida, using masonry shear walls, pre-cast slabs, concrete beams and columns, and concrete mat-slab for foundation; calculations were done using Enercalc (Wind Forces, diaphragm distribution of shear forces, design of masonry shear walls, etc.) Enlace Arquitectura , Caracas, Venezuela: Designed urban Street drainage for the remodeling of Boulevard Copernico, Las Mercedes, and the remodeling of Boulevard Bello Monte, both in Caracas, Venezuela.
