My primary duties and responsibilities were as follows: Involuntary Medications (IMEDs): Add offender to tracker, Assign SAIM number, Create schedule for hearing, Create a panel for all hearings, Schedule telecom for when specific Doctors are on the board, Create file in shared drive, Create Hard file, Make sure all reports from the Psychiatrist and Clinician are turned in on time, Complete all IMED paperwork, Serve the offender, Take files to hearings Lt, Take paperwork to Offender rep, After the hearing get paperwork from AW, Provide the inmate copies of the hearing, Provide IMED grievances, when requested (Collect within 24 hours and give to AW. Collect from AW and give back to offender), Scan file and upload to EOMIS, Maintain the file Fix and manage any issues that seem to come up for mental health, Recreate IMED reports if they are not found, Oversee the Token Economy orders and store, Provide MH Staff Movies upon request for groups and account for all movies and CDs, Maintain and update MH schedule, MDT minutes, Weekly MH team meeting agenda and minutes, Fill out and submit Access Requests for MH, Fill out and submit Key access requests for MH, Schedule all interviews for MH applicants, Place orders for what is needed by communicating with the AA III Update trackers: Movie, journal, training, vacation, etc.. COPDs-Receive, log, get to my supervisor for signature, and get them back to the Lt.s Submit work orders.Correctional Officer- (2019-2022 & 2015-2018) Correctional Officer I positions maintain the safety and security the prison facilities throughout the state. Correctional Officers support the CDOC Mission, Vision and Values with integrity and commitment while preparing inmates for community reentry. Correctional Officers respectfully communicate with inmates and their families, coworkers, supervisors, managers and the public; presenting a professional and dependable workforce. Positions must cooperate with other staff members and work as a cohesive team, while managing a diverse inmate population. Positions maintain the safety and security of the general public, staff and inmates; duties include, but are not limited to: Monitoring and controlling access to the facility and restricted areas; Monitoring facility perimeter, detaining unidentified pedestrians and/or vehicles; Operating a variety of mechanical doors, security devices, equipment and alarms; Controlling movement of inmates throughout daily schedules; Escorting and transporting inmates in authorized state vehicles; Monitoring visiting areas; Conducting formal, informal and emergency counts; Cross checking and maintaining movement logs; Conducting searches for contraband. I was also part of the Intel teamJune 2018-Aug 2019 Colorado Department of Corrections:Time and Release: Tech III: The time and release department implements the incarceration and release decisions of Colorado Courts and Colorado State Board of Parole in accordance with state statutes, case laws, Attorney General Opinions and Department of Corrections Administrative Regulations. Assures the legal incarceration and release of subjects sentenced to the Colorado Department of Corrections by analyzing and auditing all incoming legal documents; Calculates dates of parole eligibility, mandatory release, and sentence and parole discharge and schedule primary parole board hearings; Audits and analyzes all time awards and losses entered into DCIS by other DOC staff. Assures accuracy of documentation by auditing legal sentencing documents for accuracy and compliance with Colorado Revised Statutes for each person sentenced to the DOC; Communicates with appropriate criminal justice personnel, to resolve problems; Analyzes documents to determine appropriate sentencing structure, taking into account parole violations, dates of offense, violence of crime, prior violent offenses, prior non-DOC sentences, and consecutive sentences; Implements the release process for persons being paroled, statutorily discharged or released by court order from the DOC by accessing the Colorado Crime Investigation Center/National Crime Investigation Center network. Analyzes information and warrants found for any wants, holds, or notification requests found through CCIC/NCIC network; Contacts the Parole Board and sheriff's office(s) in order to initiate necessary extradition and pick-up arrangements for wanted persons; Obtains training in all aspects of time computation and release operations and be able to carry a moderate caseload; While training and after completion of training, will exchange, collect and detect information through communication with district court staff, attorneys and DOC personnel with regard to time computational statutory law, case law and DOC Administrative regulations and policies.June 2010- July 2015 Trinidad Housing AuthorityHousing Specialist/Office Manager: Duties included answering questions for applicants and tenants about the housing process, answering phones, accept rent payments, make deposits, assist with filling out applications, create new leases, annual and interim reviews and certifications, oversee and heard grievance hearings, schedule annual inspections as well as housekeeping inspections, did move in and housekeeping inspections, assist the Executive Director with creating spreadsheets to track various information, review files for audits, do in house audits of files, assist with getting bills ready for payment, ran background checks and approved or denied applicants, revised and reviewed policies annually, create work orders for any and all repairs, delegate work to the maintenance staff, oversee the front office staff to make sure that work was productive and with no issues and stressing good customer service.
