It was required of me to assist operators on all lines when needed. Help with everyday operations when called to do so by operators or management. I would walk the floor the floor all day and help each line when it was called for. I also worked with maintenance on faulty equipment, and got machinery running if the operator in the area could not. Did preventive maintenance on machines when lines were down for sanitation. Penney Catalog Distribution-Forest Park, GADecember 1996 to August 2003I have worked in many departments in the seven years with this company. I keyed in orders that came on and off trucks in the shipping and receiving department. I been loaned out to different departments to deliver merchandise with a electronic jack, or forklift. I worked most of the time in central warehouse, where I operated a cherry picker forklift, and a standup forklift. I would warehouse merchandise that came off trucks, and had to be put up into racks. I was given tickets to pull orders through out the day, on a daily basis. In shipping, and receiving departments I had to drive a tigger to deliver furniture to what truck needed to be loaded onto. I also load, and unloaded trucks on the dock. We had to stack cartons by hand to the top of the trucks, back to the front leaving no space when doors were closed to be sent off. In section two area, I was a Orderfiller. On the floor I did some stockhandling and removed merchandise out of boxes and placed them into bins for orderfillers to pick. These were all production types jobs.
