As a GI technician, I work closely work gastroenterologists, nurses and anesthesiologists. When preparing operating rooms, I ensure that all the equipment needed for the procedure is properly disinfected and assembled. I also check that the equipment is in working order and place all instruments in areas where they can be easily reached by doctors.I greet the patients, attach patients to the monitors and position patients prior to the beginning of the procedure.
