Rev.:NewDate:06/27/14Job Designation:Machine OperatorSalary Class:HourlyDepartment: MachiningSpecialist section: MachiningDuties (Brief description of the principal task involved):Loading and unloading of the processing machines with castings with subsequent inspection of the parts for rejects according to the test instructionsDescription of activities (List of all key tasks/processes actually carried out):The holder of the position ...Percentage distribution (estimated):100%...................must place castings in the nest/ carrier/ fixture (clamp it pneumatically, hydraulically, mechanically or by hand) and initiate the cycle by push-button.unclamp/ nest/ fixture and unload the part after machining and cleans the device for the next part.must, during the automatic work sequence and as and when required wash, inspect and prepare the previous part, inspect it according to the testing and work instructions (operator self-inspection) and then deposit it in a container or pack it ready for dispatch.Following written processes and maintain records and appropriate data.Learn to trouble-shoot robots and other problems as they occur on automatic line.Must follow work instructions and quality instructions.The level is calculated according to the total availability of the machines andsystems achieved. Responsible for identifying Environmental Aspects for his/her department, and supporting Environmental Management Plan (EMP) goals and targets through training, engagement and communication.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee must comply with all safety regulations and proper operating procedures, utilizing required safety equipment at all times.Employees are obligated to leave workplace in a clean and orderly manner.
