I like teachinginfinitely. I m very scientific, but I love social sciences and communication a lot. English is thelanguage of science. I have a fun and humorous character. I can inspire students to learn byconverting a boring lesson into an interesting one. I m a mixture of introvert and extrovert. Therefore, I started my English/Science teaching experience in 2010. Moreover, I had beenpracticing English in a lot of English classes since my childhood, so I am native-like (native level).Besides, my parents are teachers. I genetically like teaching.Hobbies/InterestsI have traveled a lot and enjoy meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. I lovescience infinitely. My favorite scientists are Johann Bernoulli, Professor Maryam Mirzakhani (Sheis my favorite mathematician. She was the first woman and the first Iranian to win the FieldsMedal in Mathematics. She earned a Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2004. She became aprofessor of Mathematics at Stanford University in 2009.), Marie Curie (The only woman who haswon two Nobel Prizes in the history of our planet. The only person who has won two Nobel Prizesin two different scientific fields. She was unique), and Nikola Tesla. Generally, I love all thescientists. I absolutely love teaching science. My favorite topics to teach are Earth Science,Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Space Science/Astronomy. I love music andmovies a lot. I use energetic/stimulating songs to promote learning English in my classes. Myfavorite singers are Rihanna, Chris Brown, Marc Anthony, Alexandra Stan, etc. My first favoritesong is Beautiful People by Rihanna & Sia. My second favorite song is No Face, No Name, Nonumber Modern Talking. My third favorite song is Hotel California Eagles., etc. Moreover, inmy leisure time, I study astronomy, especially black holes.AppendixI often use the Jeremy Harmer method (ESA) in my English classes. Engage, Study, and Activatephases. Students need to be motivated, be exposed to the language, and have the opportunityto use it. This approach gives the teacher a great deal of flexibility in the classroom. I think thatthis method is the most effective, and the most logical of all the methodologies for teachers tolearn and apply in the classroom.Engage Phase: This is the sequence in the lesson where the teacher will try to arouse thestudents interest and get them involved in the lesson. If students are involved and interested, they will find the lesson more stimulating and fun, thus reducing inhibitions and leading to a moreconductive language learning environment. Activities and materials which tend to engagestudents include games, music, interesting pictures, stories, and etc. The engage phase of alesson should be considered a warmer In essence, the aim is to warm up our students and toget them thinking and speaking in English as much as possible before proceeding to the nextphase of the lesson. We do not want to teach them anything in the Engage stage as the aim ofthis stage is simply designed to engage them.Study Phase: These activities are those where the students will focus on the language (orinformation) and how it is constructed. These activities could range from the practice and studyof a single sound to an examination and practice of a verb tense.Study stages usually start with elicitation. You should always elicit as much information aspossible from the basis of your board work. This would then be followed by the presentation ofthe language points, and drilling exercises to ensure correct pronunciation. After the language points has been covered, exercises (often worksheets) are given to thestudents to check their understanding and to reinforce the material. As a class, you will thenreview their answers to the exercises and go over any errors. The students may work in groups studying a text for vocabulary or study a transcript to discoverstyle of speech. Whatever the method, study means any stage where the students will be focusedon the construction of the language. The study phase will probably include several worksheetsand/or activities. These should start relatively easy in nature and become progressively harder. All study activities should therefore be presented and completed in a logical order.Activate Phase: This is the stage where the students are encouraged to use any/all of thelanguage they know. Here students should be using the language as freely and communicativelyas possible. The focus is very much more on fluency than accuracy with no restrictions onlanguage usage. Typical activate activities include role-plays (where students act out asrealistically as possible a dialogue among two or more people e.g. doctor and patient),communication games, debates (with higher-level classes), story writing, etc.All three ESA elements need to be present in most lessons to provide a balanced range ofactivities for the students. Some lesson may be more heavily focused on one stage or anotherbut all stages should be included wherever possible.Besides, I use the Callan Method: The fast, fun, and effective way to master a language. It s livelyand enjoyable:During every lesson, students learn new grammar and vocabulary. You immediately practiceusing it, and everything is revised in a systematic way so that they remember what you velearned. If you are aiming to take language exams at level B1, B2 or C1 (for example, Cambridge,TOEIC, IELTS, TOEFL), the Callan Method is the fastest way to acquire the language skills you needto succeed, and you ll be able to speak fluently and with confidence. In this way, students are busy with important activities that you cannot do outside the classroom. They are listening all the time. They are speaking a lot, and all your mistakes are corrected. Theylearn quickly because you are always surrounded by the target language. New words andgrammar are taught using language they have already learned. They immediately practice thenew material, listening to questions, saying the answers, and getting immediate correction forany mistakes. Vocabulary and grammar are then systematically revised, reappearing in differentcontexts as they progress through different stages of your course. Because there is a lot ofrevision, it is not important for students to understand everything perfectly the first time, it getseasier and easier until they are naturally using the language.I have studied a lot about Dr. Maria Montessori s method of teaching children. She proved thatchildren, infants, and toddlers learn when they move. The Maria Montessori Theory is an educational approach that emphasizes individualizedinstruction and self-paced learning. It is based on the belief that children are naturally curiousand capable of learning independently. Maria Montessori developed the Montessori method;she believed that education should be tailored to each child s unique needs and interests. Anapproach that has been shown to promote children s academic success and social-emotionaldevelopment. The Montessori Theory is now used in schools worldwide, and its popularity isgrowing as parents seek alternative educational options for their children.Traditional education models tend to group children based on age and treat them as though theyare all at the same developmental stage. In contrast, Montessori education recognizes thatchildren develop at different rates and strives to meet each child where they are. As a result, classrooms are designed to allow children of different ages to interact and learn from oneanother. This model also emphasizes hands-on learning, allowing children to explore anddiscover new concepts in a way best suited to their individual learning styles. As a result,Montessori education tends to be more flexible and responsive to the needs of each child. With my kindest regards,Candidate's Name
