Honda Development & Manufacturing (HDMA) MAP Paint Materials Engineering Co-op June 2024-Present Managed the Electronic Operation Standard project in paint from ground 0 by leveraging my extensive expertise gained from my previous role in AF to create a clear decision analysis matrix, precise return on investment graph, organized Gantt chart, and detailed budget proposal. Developing a CATIA model of a cart that holds the car as it moves through paint to prototype future modifications for accommodating battery electric vehicle plant advancements. Mentoring another co-op on a project to standardize supplier specifications by arranging weekly meetings and making educational PowerPoints on Excel and supplier communication.
Collaborating with MAP production management department to create and organize events for co-ops to help further their careers and network with a variety of full-time employees.
Honda Development & Manufacturing (HDMA) MAP Assembly Frame Process Engineering Co-op Jan 2024-May 2024 Led a project to deploy digital work instructions to the floor, replacing 500 paper binders with iPads which will save Honda $2 million in the next 5 years and was completed 3 months earlier than expected. Managed 12 associates to setup 381 iPads and 49 charging cabinets which enabled the project to be ahead of schedule by 4 weeks. Learned AutoCAD independently to develop a layout for the new IPU hybrid battery line, reducing space requirements by 20%. Oversaw a group of 10 engineers to move the process supplies from a 19.5 sqft area within a two-day period.
