Professional Experience
UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE November 2019 April 2024
I began my career as a PSE processing letters and parcels within the southwest Missouri district at the
distribution center located in Springfield. This facility services approximately one-third of the
state. Converted to regular status in March 2021, assigned to processing mail on the parcel-post
distribution machine processing local, regional, national, and international parcels. The daily requirements
achieved were attention to detail, proper and accurate data entry, and the ability to work and succeed in a
fast-paced environment.
In December 2022, I was promoted to 204B status (i.e., supervisor-in-training). Responsible for parcel
mail movement in the facility. This included, but not limited to, making certain mail was
properly processed and timely sent out of the facility to its proper destination. This
required the direct supervision of approximately 40 to 50 employees at any given time. Meeting
deadlines, getting mail to the dock, and loading on trucks and on the road daily required constant focus
and attention while attending to the needs and concerns of staff and making specific contractual terms of
the union and drivers, which were always met. In June 2023, I was promoted to full-time supervisor of
distribution operations.
