Next, I was assigned to an expansion project at the Exxon refinery in Baytown, TX. During this time, I took part in the companys first SAP implementation and was selected to join the deployment team, where I was responsible for the configuration and roll-out of the purchase to pay module in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions. In Early 2000, I moved to the Balkan Support Contract in Kosovo and Macedonia, providing full construction and life support to the US Army via four regional procurement, materials, and property offices.In 2003, I took over as Middle East Regional Manager - Procurement & Materials for the LOGCAP III contract in the Middle East. The scale and tempo of this contract were such that roughly 70% of billed costs were from subcontracts.
