My youngest grandchildren still live with my wife and I, they areboth done with High School, preparing for adult life. We adopted them in 2013.My Hobbies include target archery, target shooting and keeping reptiles. My wife and I have been married for 38 years. I worked at different 4 year degree positions, I got my A.S. in engineering from AlamedaUniversity in Rosie ID., GPA, 3.1. in 2006. My weakest ability is computers in general. I took a class in logic programming, did well.I can work within a specific program, its the general computer knowledge Im not the best at. My smart phone skills are equalling lacking.About me. I need to stay busy, Im not one who can sit and do nothing. I enjoy challenging conditions, requiring some mental activity on mypart. I was in an oil rig accident in 1980, broken body parts from head to toes. I move a little slow, but it doesnt have a controllingeffect on me. Having managed work crews over 4 decades, I understand the need for dependability, timeliness.My work history gave me the opportunity to have very broad fields of experience. Electrical, I worked in a building that had 1472 VAC in thebuilding, it took a crew of 7-8 to even open the doors to the enclosures. On more practical experience, I helped set poles, ran overhead lines,set up generators for power. Worked with the old NEMA standard, then the ICE equipment. I worked on pre- WW II systems. 3 phase with 3,440 VAC hot lines, very unusual. My years with water, municipal, commercial, domestic introduced me to a wide variety of electrical systems.I worked with high pressure liquids and gases, up to 3000 psi liquids, 6000psi gases. I have made distillation systems for H2Os, to 98%.I have bent and installed over 5 miles of stainless steel, monel tubing over a 10 year period. I know because I made the purchase requests.Part of a research team that did vacuum testing to minus 3 atmospheres, a test fluid that was minus 28 F, a PH of 14, and it was known to explode,all 400 liters of it, lol. At one point, for 3-4 years, I was federally certified to do hazardous extraction of hazardous materials from super-fundsite in southern California. Took 2 months of training to qualify for the certification.Job History1971- 1978 Concrete. Flat work, curb-gutter, stem walls, dam spill ways, multi-story parking facilities. Everything except a large bridge and a road.1978-1992 oil, water. 1978-1982 drilled for oil, natural gas, H2S. Worked primarily as derrick hand, mixed drilling fluids, maintained tri-plex pumps.Deepest hole, 23,000 ft. Water. From simple electrical to very complicated systems. I drilled a 100 ft hole that produced 3500 gpm, very unusual.Was federally certified to do Hazardous Extraction from super-fund sites. All of the companies that I worked for with water no longer exist.One of the oil companies, Aztec Well Service, Aztec NM is still in business.1992-1994. Ace hardware in N. Edward, CA. Stocked, lumber, feed1995-2005 USAF, Rocket Research Facility, EAFB, CA. I occupied an engineering tech, slot, a 4 year degree position. I oversaw safety requirements,system design, managed system building, system testing for rocket injector research. I supported up to 15 Ph.ds. managed/supervised up 8 techs.Normal staff was 5-8 research scientists. All those I worked for, contractor and federal civilians have retired.2006-2008 Directed Energy, Colorado Springs, CO. Engineering Tech. This company developed a chemically powered power pack for the747 aircraft weaponized laser. Operated vacuum systems, minus 3 atmosphere, chemical compound at -28 F, 14 ph. managed and ran all supportsystems for testing. This company is no longer in business.I
