Relevant Projects:
CSCI 370 - Mobile Application Development - For the final project, I worked with 1 classmate to create a Bike Tracker app.
Built using Android Studio framework and public APIs, such as Geolocation, the app would first prompt the user to select one of
three images of bicycles, then provide the user with GPS coordinates on the location of that bicycle to purchase or rent.
CITA 280 - Game Programming - For this course s final, I worked with a partner to create a game from scratch. We chose the
tile-runner genre where the user directs the runner in an attempt to avoid oncoming in-game obstacles. The game was
developed in Unity using C# and JavaScript and playable on Windows, macOS, and the Linux Platform using a keyboard s arrow
keys as input.
CITA 470 - Principles of Artificial Intelligence - I took a course that introduces fundamental techniques for artificial intelligence,
covering heuristic search, knowledge representation, intelligent agents, reasoning, neural networks, genetic algorithms, and AI
programming.
We've also explored additional topics like Bayesian networks, natural language processing, machine learning, rule-based
systems, robotics, and discovery informatics, providing a comprehensive overview of AI applications.
CSCI 495 - Capstone - As a group of four working with a teacher from a non-CS field, we have spent all of the fall semester on a
program that detects distinctions between two pieces of art to determine whether those pieces were created by the same artist. All of
this work is done using the scrum principles meeting with our mentor(s) every 2 weeks. Within some of the images, we can tell if
they are done by the same hand. We can tell this information by the shape and size of the image. Using Python s PIL and Zipf library
we can get clear information on the images, and the program gets more accurate when we can tell whether or not these images are by
the same hand.
