Experienced Document Control Specialist for multiple new Hyperscale Data Center Projects and for Moves, Adds, Retrofit, Change and Utility (MARCUS) Type Projects in an Operating Data Center environment as part of the Project Close Out process.. Developed and implemented the building audit program to ensure that the as-built drawings are accurate and represent company standards for all Data Centers. Developed a standard audit procedure, explaining the process, expectations and techniques to a successful building audit. Participated with a team to establish department standards, procedures and policies for documentation management.PAST PROJECT EXPERIENCESachs Electric (2013 to January 2016):Serves as document control manager to establish a move towards paperless processes to become more flexible and responsive to customer needs.Created a system to manage and track Requests for Information (RFIs) hyperlinking them to the Red-Line drawing rather than the paper-based system previously used. Serves as supervisor of a team to take Red-Line drawings from scanned, handwritten sketches to digital drawings using Bluebeam Revu, gaining recognition from construction management for accuracy. Ultimately he was asked to assume oversight of Red-Line drawings for all buildings Sachs constructed on site. I developed a high tech database system, called the Materials Inventory Management System (MIMS) to track all of the steel sheet piles. This system provided strict check-in and check-out monitoring, ordering, delivery, warehouse management and operations, and inventory tracking. One of my responsibilities was also to inspect the steel for product quality using a number of specifications. Using the MIMS data system I was able to coordinate the document preparation support with regards to the supply contractors, size, shape and length of the load for inventory tracking purposes and coordinate large quantities of needed documentation for each transaction both inbound and outbound.Building Maintenance Manager - Holiday Inn (2008-2009)Planned, scheduled, identified and coordinated with the General Manager the physical inventory of equipment, tools, supplies that needed to be replaced right away and those that could be ordered later in the month or year.
