Conducted a reverse engineering to solve an overheating issue presented in kitchen dishwasher room in restaurant building, a renovation was done in the 3/9building and upon project completion and delivered to owner, the staff in the dishwasher room experienced very high temperature. I reviewed the HVAC system original design calculations, engineering plans, air balancing report, equipment history, operation and maintenance manuals and found the contractor replaced the old dishwasher machine with a new one with different specs with 30,000 BTUs which creates disturbance to the HVAC operation. I conducted the thermal load analysis based on the manufacturers performance curve of the exhaust fan which lead to replace the Fan with a new one to enable the exhaust air flow without compromising the whole system. An outside mechanical contractor was employed to install the fan. Problem was solved and no more panic to the staff. Assisted the director to manage a service agreement for pest control contractor due to increase of rodents presence in buildings and premises. Develop an excel sheet to include all buildings and courts, all chemicals used, traps and locations, include all types of pest, all statistical data and develop metrics, assign a contracting officer Technical representative (COTR) to follow up and monitor the performance of contractor and to feed the CMMS.
