Education:
May Street Address graduated from Monterey High School.
September 1962-December 1962 Attended Lubbock Christian.
September 1971-1975 Graduated Texas Tech Bachelor of Science
Health and Physical Education (double major) I started my degree in
Art but switched to Health and Physical Education after one year.
May 1989-August 89 Took a class at Texas Tech to qualify me to
take the test to be a Sanitarian. (I never did anything with this degree
because there weren t any openings at the time any where close).
September 1995 took a class at Wayland Baptist in merchandising.
Work:
September 1975 - August 1976 I coached and taught
physical education to junior high girls in Atascosa, Texas.
September 1976 to August 1978 coached and taught
physical education to junior high girls at Mineral Wells, Texas.
The humidity was really bad in Atascosa, so I moved to a dryer
climate at Haskell, Texas. I started the elementary P E program
at Haskell in 1979-1981. I hustled up some ropes and bean bags
to work on co-ordination and eye/hand co-ordination until we
could get some P E equipment. I did have the kids bring their
tennis racquets to class for a tennis unit. I also had several
racquets the kids could use. I wanted them to learn a lifetime
sport.
1998-1999? I taught Health to junior high at Irons Junior High
and P.E. at Whiteside Elementary 1st through 3rd.
I sold high speed DSL to business customers from January 2000
to June 2011 and retired from AT&T.
I have sold insurance and real estate here and there, but am
ready to get back to work.
