Thrash Development- (General Superintendent) $25 million,5 stories hotel (120 rooms), restaurant, retail project 2021-2022 Linbeck (General Superintendent) Construction on a medical rehabilitation Hospital in San Antonio Texas -$20 million Structural Steel slab on grade. A multifamily 9-story building in Austin. $40 million. 2018 -2021 ACOM/Hunt 2018 FAIRMONT HOTEL-Sq.ft.1.4 million (39-story) (Structural Concrete Superintendent) On a bridge that runs from the hotel to the convention center ($10 million). Plus, the punch-out process in the $375 million-dollar Hotel. 2016-2018
Davila Construction: 2012-2017 (General Superintendent) Total S.q.ft.60,000BEXAR COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND THE SAN ANTONIO CHILDREN'S LIBRARY. The Bexar County Detention Center is a new addition to the adult detention center, it includes a video visitation building, it also includes a rehab/education/ reentry into society building. All of this is run by a state-of-the-art Hi-Tech system, very complicated and detailed. Projects $18 million dollars.
PALMAR LORETO CONSTRUCTION: 2007-2011(General Superintendent) Note*2 Million sq. Ft. Palmar Loreto is not a Construction company they are developers they hire their own construction team for a project and when the project is finished if the team is not needed people move on LAS ISLAS DE LORETO RESORT IN BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR in MEXICO The project was a 200 million dollar five-star resort community, 4 Hotels,1 spa,4 restaurants, a tennis court, and an incredible golf course. Conferred with and directed assistant superintendents, foremen, and all the subcontractors supervisors on a weekly basis on scheduling revisions, safety meetings etc. Monitored all supervisors so that all union work rules were followed.
All the structures were cast-in-place concrete. Included 3 (2) span bridges. Worked closely with the project manager and owners so their timelines could be followed.
Directed activities of all field personnel on this project.
Monitored a constant pumping out of seawater 24/7. The 24/7 sea water pumping operation was 30 feet) below sea level. Built two (2) cast-in-place concrete water cisterns.
Created the construction project s job safety program based on OSHA guidelines.
Started a program to train 200+ construction field personnel so a fast-paced work environment could be put into action.
Heavy equipment was bought that included, excavators, front loaders, concrete trucks, blades, rollers, dump trucks, backhoes, a concrete batch plant, and such. This included 2 remote-controlled tower cranes. Coordinated work with Environmental Engineers so this project site conformed to very strict environmental guidelines. These guidelines had to be followed because of the projects very close location to Mexico s largest (the worlds) natural water park. Created the construction project s job safety program based on OSHA guidelines.
M&Z Construction 2001-2007 (Structural Concrete Superintendent) Construction on several office buildings, BRIDGES, (31 stories) HILTON HOTEL in Downtown Austin sq.ft.1 million. 2 (5 stories) SOUTHWESTERN BELL OFFICE BUILDINGS and several parking structures plus various other projects.
AUSTIN INDUSTRIES (Bridge & Road / Commercial) 1996-2001(General Foreman) Bridge & Road: On the standard structural concrete work on bridges, (precast beam set, concrete panels, abutments, riprap) retention walls, water retention ponds, box culverts, sidewalks etc. for TXDOT.
The EFCO, Symons, and the snap tie system were used on these projects. Austin Commercial: The MOTOROLA CAMPUS .1milion sq. Ft. (Internships for new hires and continued Education for their current Employees). This was a design-build project. This was a one (1) million sq. ft. project. Managed all of the structural concrete work, and the masonry work, and then helped on the rough inside work. This $260 million-dollar project was finished several months ahead of schedule.
LINBECK CONSTRUCTION: (Superintendent)On the renovation, conversion, and update of the historic BROWN BUILDING (LBJ s first owned office building) from an office building into high-end condominiums in downtown Austin. 100,000 sq. Ft.A four-story precast parking structure was also added.
