After graduation I returned to Pennsylvania spending the next fifteen years owning and operating a retail hardware and wholesale industrial supply business with my brother. This was a very successful business for many years, then the local steel mill closed and the whole town suffered. I decided to return to Florida to attend the Graduate Accounting School at Stetson University in Deland, Florida.I relocated my family to Florida to attend the two year accounting program at Stetson. After completing I entered the public accounting field, first working for a local C.P.A. then operating my own public accounting business. After seven years in public accounting I had the opportunity to purchase a prominent mortgage brokerage business in Daytona Beach. This was also a highly successful business, then in 1988 when the mortgage and housing industry collapsed I closed that business and sold the real estate.Since that time I have spent most of my time in various sales positions. Insurance and Real Estate have been my primary focus for the past several years, I currently hold Florida state licenses for each.
