To whom it may concern,l was very fortunate to have Steve Markowicz on my sales team while l ran the Lowes Home center in Greeley Colorado for over 7 years. He was a top performer as a front end associate as well as every time that l attended the National Sales Meeting in Las Vegas l was presented with the regional award for outstanding performance in credit card applications processed and that was without a doubt driven by Steve. l cannot tell you how many times that l was asked what our store was doing, and the answer was always the same-we had Steve!l remember asking him what he was doing to lead the region and he said his secret sauce was that he asked every customer that came to his register. No exceptions.His results were above outstanding, and he has made a huge name for himself as the King of Credit. Just a few awards that he has received were a Street Address  flat screen TV and an Apple Ipad, l am sure there were more over the years.l will endorse Steve as long as he works as the best credit driver that l have ever seen and would recommend that any employer jump at the opportunity to have him join there team.I worked in big box retail for Street Address  years at both Walmart as well as Lowes and Steve will always be the best of the best that I had the priviledge to lead as a store manager.On another side of the business that Steve excelled at was in cash handling. I cannot provide any specifics as it has been a while since I was at Lowes as a manager but what l do recall was very accurate Steve always was in his accounting of his till. His integrity was never questioned and his ability to connect with each of his customers lead to numerous comments in regard to the service they had received by Steve.l think that the one thing that stands out about Steve throughout the time that the two of us worked there was his passion to deliver results. His drive was always there, and he always exceeded the stores expectations no matter how high the goal was for that period of time.I was always a pleasure to work with Steve and l would expect and l would expect nothing but the same in any future roles that he may fill for any retail company.Sean OBrien8/15/2023
