Fits all military and civilian personnel assigned to noise hazardous areas with earplugs as required. Have performed follow-up audiometric testing on all employees assigned to noise hazardous positions. Conducts a daily system biological calibration check of audiometer and ensures results of system check are within acceptable ranges.Knowledge of procedures and techniques of several occupational health medical areas, to include audiology, pulmonary function, EKG, vision screening and the administration of vaccines.Performs administrative functions as required, such as scheduling, closing out daily patient records, sending out physician written opinions under the direction of the nurse or medical officer, and maintenance of medical records as needed. Assists with maintaining daily log of all screenings performed and for what purpose.
