Primary duties were to analyze intelligence to identify insurgent networks for the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) program. Accepted an advisory position to the National Investigative and Information Agency (NIIA) in Iraq, a FBI equivalent, mentor- ing the Kurdish Major General regarding overall control of the agency. Operationally conducted joint overt and covert operations with NIIA personnel against both insurgent and Iranian based threats. This was especially relevant due to the political and strategic loca- tion of the Karada Peninsula that remains the home the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), the Badr Corp and Iranian Quds forces. Led the 82nd Airborne Division in the effort to establish the first-of-its-kind standard operating procedure for warrant-based targeting in line with the newly enacted Iraqi Security Agreement.
