Project included the state-of-the-art upgrade to all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Over 50% of the building skin removed and updated. Added underground storm drainage system and additional parking areas. Developed and administered bid packages for this $45M project. Worked with the design team, general contractors and subcontractors to value engineer the project saving the equity partners over $4M. Also, coordinated permitting process with the local authorities saving approximately $300K in fees. Generated additional savings of $100K in the furniture package and over $150K in the buyout of the kitchen equipment package for the Amenities space. Also, generated savings of $100K by offering redesign insight to the architectural team for the Breakout Room of new Conference Facility.Worked closely with the design team and preconstruction manager in helping to develop the conceptual design for the $40M of improvements at Gateway Center in Newark.
