I also perform child custody evaluations and practice forensic psychiatry.From 1976 - 1980, as the Director of Psychiatry at Grant Hospital, my duties were to develop an inpatient psychiatric unit. I also supervised outpatient clinical staff.From 1985-1993 I served as staff psychiatrist for the Institute of Psychiatry of the Criminal Court of Cook County, examining those persons charged with crimes, at the pre-indictment and indictment levels, for fitness to stand trial and for sanity determination.
