Soon thereafter, I obtained a visa to immigrate to the United States, I left Romania,
and I continued my training as a Cardiology fellow at the Pontino Diagnostic Center, in
Latina, Italy, for several months, until I obtained an American visa and came to the United
States, in August of 1983.

       I became a U.S. citizen in 1988, over 30 years ago.

Between July 1, 1984 - June 30, 1986, I completed two years of residency in Internal
