Street Address PHONE NUMBER AVAILABLE EMAIL AVAILABLETo whom it may Concern,My name is Candidate's Name and I am interested in a nursing position at your facility.I graduated from the PN program at Vermont Technical College, in Randolph center, VT and passed my LPN license exam in June 2010.On May, 7, 2011 I graduated Vermont Technical College's A.D.N. Program. My clinical experiences over those two years have included several days on the medical- surgical floor. I have had a number of opportunities that allowed me to challenge my knowledge and learn new things. I feel very comfortable in the medical surgical setting. I have also spent time in maternity, endoscopy, the operating room, psych, PACU, ICU, and the emergency room.I worked August 24, 2004 until June, 2011 at Monadnock Dialysis Center in Keene, NH as a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician. My duties included pre / post treatment vital signs and general assessment through communication and observation. I reported any unusual findings to the RN/ Team Leader. I was responsible for initiating treatments, monitoring vital signs and machine parameters, and terminating treatments. As a CCHT it was my responsibility to be aware of my patients and monitor them continuously for signs and symptoms of anything abnormal. The patients were my number one priority and making sure nothing happened to them while they are in my care is important to me.I then became a Registered Nurse and transferred to the Acute Dialysis program back in NH where I worked from June, 2011 through April, 2012.during this time I worked between six hospitals where dialysis took place in several departments including the ICU, CCU, PCU, MedSurg, and rehabilitation facilities. I then transferred to SC and have worked acute inpatient dialysis here as well. My duties include initiating/terminating patient treatments while they are in the inpatient setting, monitoring them for any changes, concerns or problems they had. I am familiar with CRRT therapy and Peritoneal Dialysis. I have learned to communicate well with my teammates which included MD's, RN's, Techs, Social Workers, Dietary staff/ Dieticians, and many more hospital employees.I feel I am a hardworking, compassionate, and understanding woman who would be a nice asset to your team. I have worked in dialysis my entire nursing career however it is my dream to work with children, mothers and babies. I am a team player, I get along well with everyone I work with and went to school with. I enjoy people, I love communicating and listening. I believe patient safety and the patient come first before anything. I currently have a set schedule and would be available to work at your facility every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to hearing from you.Candidate's Name
