The requirement to create a SaaS cloud based solution for a nationwide vending company required the use of both Agile and DevOps to create an AWS Cloud based solution. The challenge was to cut cost to a minimum for the creation of the systems as well as ongoing expense. In order to eliminate the cost of building a Data Center AWS (Amazon Web Services) was selected as opposed to a traditional premise-based data center. Beyond the cloud-based system custom IoT (Internet of Things) hardware had to be created. The completed project featuring the community version of ODOO ERP reduced the annual IT budget by fifty percent.

Based on the burgeoning Drone industry the requirement was proof of concept of an autonomous data gathering UAS
(Drone). A custom flight controller was designed based on the industry standard open source APM. The goal of the project was to prove that an autonomous Drone could be created that could fly a mission, use photogrammetry, gather data, and return to point of origin. Data gathered during the mission then transmitted to Cloud Servers hosted on AWS EC2 servers.
Custom flight controller design based on industry standard APM (Auto-Pilot Module) for Drone resulting in reduced cost over custom controller design by 75%.

Company transitional names: American Coin/Sugarloaf -> Coinstar Entertainment-> National Entertainment Network A national Amusement Vending company originally hired me as a consultant to correct a failed one-million-dollar project. I assembled a team and we were able to deliver the replacement system in six months, based on the success of the project I joined the company.
