Project ReNew has been chartered to upgrade the Frito-Lay US (FLUS) core financial systems. This includes Oracle Financials, Purchase to Pay (P2P) and Product Cost Accounting systems. Upon completion of this project, FLUS will be on a current/supported version of Oracle Financials.
The main focus of this project is to migrate the existing solution to Oracle version R12.1.X, a current and supported version of the Oracle e-Business suite. In addition, the scope includes implementing improved capabilities in several selected areas, including legal entity reporting, supplier portal and indirect procurement. The project also includes some minor performance tuning and Business Objects reporting for the Sales Accounting systems.
PepsiCo will be migrating the existing Oracle application suite to a current and supported version of the applications.

Enhanced, maintained and supported the core payroll systems of PeopleSoft (versions7.0/7.5/8.x) processing, plus quarter end reporting (SQR), and W2/updates for yearend processing. Utilizing 3-Tier Architecture and mainframe batch processing using Cobol II, DB2v7, VSAM, Easytrieve, SAS, etc.
Project leader and production support of vendor interface (inbound/outbound) systems   General Ledger, Disability Management, Cost of Manufacturing, Relocation Reimbursement, 401K and Capital Stock, Exercised Stock Options, Risk Management, Pension Management, Health and Life Care Reserves utilizing Cobol II, DB2, VSAM, SAS.
Developed and programmed the Disaster Recovery process. The controller wanted to have in place a payroll disaster recovery plan and process to pay employees (all 45,000), if the data center was destroyed. By using the DB2 data unload flat files, Cobol II, AFP, VSAM, and JCL I created a mainframe batch process to produce the payroll register, pay checks, accounting transactions and PeopleSoft adjustment transactions. This process was approved by the controller, internal, and external auditors.
(PeopleSoft HR/Benefits/Payroll client server based system using host DB2 database)   Enhanced and implemented version 5.12 of PeopleSoft payroll system. Team member that developed front end data gathering of Earnings, Taxes, and Deductions of feeds from (approx. 80) plants and field distribution centers, payroll benefits service offices, sales compensation, and etc. Maintained and supported the system through implementation.
