Significant Accomplishments:
Implemented a safety BINGO program that significantly reduced injuries and related expenses. The company s worst performing terminal reduced its costs from $22,000 to $500 in the first quarter of 2006.
Proactively started addressing open workers compensation claims. Closed 92% of claims within one year and reduced reserve by $450,000. This translated into a reduced MOD rate, from 120% to 75%, and lower premiums.
