Description:  Recently promoted to be responsible for e Business and DWBI for Interline Brands, Inc. and responsible for all aspects of technology and information systems for AmSan, LLC (now a  brand  within Interline)

Accomplishments:  Hired pre-acquisition by AmSan, LLC, along with new CEO and CFO in early 2003 to construct turnaround strategy for poorly performing AmSan.  AmSan since then has sustained 30%+ EBITDA growth for 2003, 2004 and 2005.  This growth trend is continuing in 2006 thus far.  Manage 10 direct reports.  Moved IT function to Deerfield, IL, and managed the following projects to completion:  Reduced field application system platforms from 8 to 4.  Converted $52,000 month frame-relay network to public broadband using VPN technology increasing bandwidth 3X overall and reducing monthly costs to $23,000 month.  Implemented first corporate financial application, Microsoft Dynamics SL, sourced with AmSan s first data warehouse driven by extensive ETL upload nightly processes.  Solution included an intranet portal for report and file distribution in this company created with venture capital and many acquisitions, the first such time AmSan had any corporate-wide, robust database, reporting and delivery structure.  Developed first corporate-wide web presence including a customer service and sales representative enablement extranet applications.  Also developed AmSan s first thrust at corporate-wide market analysis using business intelligence models with MS Analysis Services and MS ProClarity.  AmSan s business is large volume distribution and light process manufacturing.  AmSan was acquired in July 2006 by Interline Brands, Inc. for approximately 8X 2005 EBITDA.  Interline retained my employ promoting me to a new position in April 2007.

Description:  Involved in staffing and managing up to 8 employees and involving outside contractors in project work with assignments requiring all aspects of project management.  Also responsible for overall technical design and architecture of managed projects.

Accomplishments:  Managed successful independent, small consultancy with up to 8 employees.  4 major customers and a variety of smaller ones.  Continued as senior member of National Sanitary custom ERP development and implementation project team deploying industry-specific ERP application to over 100 locations representing $500M revenue.  Managed successful projects including $850,000 AS/400 JDEdwards ERP/EDI integration project for Toyota Tsusho (wholly-owned subsidiary of Toyota Motor Manufacturing), $300,000 manufacturing/ERP integration project for Toyota Tsusho, and a variety of other smaller projects including many JDE One World EDI/eCommerce implementations.  Managed JD Edwards One World Sterling Commerce Gentran EDI projects for Orange Glo, International of Denver, CO, and and Matrixx Initiatives of Phoenix, AZ.  Matrixx Initiatives JD Edwards One World/EDI program was created from scratch using Sterling Commerce Gentran as mapping application.  Other SPBA also constructed some of the first web applications in the Cincinnati market for Jacor, Scripps-Howard and Belcan, including a geographic information system (GIS) MapInfo-based physician locator application for a local medical service bureau.  In all of these endeavors I participated as a project team member and sourced other team members from the client s I.S. personnel and outside consultants and contractors.  In every case I had ultimate responsibility for delivering the solution.

Primary Business:  National Sanitary Supply Company, a majority-owned Chemed subsidiary with sales of approximately $350,000,000, was the largest distributor of sanitary and janitorial supplies in the United States.

Description: Was hired to align corporate I.S. strategy with business plan.  Developed and managed AS/400 project replacing 5 regional, disparate systems with one central I.T. organization and custom-developed ERP application.  Implemented wide-area, frame-relay data network.  Reported to CEO of National Sanitary Supply Company who was also Vice-Chairman of Chemed Corporation.  Also, developed and executed project plan to construct proprietary, vertical ERP solution for Industrial Sanitary Supply industry including distribution and light process manufacturing modules.  This rapid application development effort using an advanced prototyping development environment, Synon, involved detailed business process documentation and subsequent redesign in conjunction with the construction of the ERP application.  This project included a 50-member project team, internal developers and outside consultants and contractors.  When fully deployed this custom-developed ERP application (A.N.S.S.W.E.R. for  A National Sanitary Supply Company Whole Enterprise Resource ) supported well over 2,000 employees and operations that produced $500M of revenue and involved ultimately over 100 locations.  Total development effort included over 50,000 man-hours of development labor.

Accomplishments:  Before leaving National Sanitary, IT organization and staff structure in place and first releases of ERP implementation accomplished with live operations running the application.  Also, at beginning of assignment, developed data warehouse in Oracle to receive data converted from disparate operations and application systems for executive use.  National Sanitary acquired by Unisource which adopted National s ERP application for Unisource supply business.

Big Yank Corporation, Hattiesburg, MS.

Primary Business:  Apparel Manufacturer.  Big Yank had sales of approximately $90,000,000 and 2,200 employees.  Largest customers include K-Mart, Sears, Wal-Mart, and JC Penney.

Description:  Managed all computer related activities within the company.

Accomplishments:  Developed successful Quick Response, EDI program, planning and managing various projects using Apparel Computer Systems EDI mapping application and JDEdwards World ERP.  All Big Yank s top 12 customers were integrated with full  Quick Response , retail supply chain integration.  This included ANSI EDI document interchange and Code 128 bar-coded cartons requirements.  Also, developed custom ERP/MRP component integrating with JD Edwards and plant piece work payroll manufacturing application.  During my years at Big Yank we were honored as Vendor of the Year by Kmart, Big Yank s largest customer representing 40% of sales.  Senior buyer Joe Tripoli of Kmart indicated one of the primary reasons for being selected was the excellent service Kmart received from Big Yank s Information Systems team as evidenced by accurate and compliant  Quick Response  capabilities.
