CAREER HIGHLIGHTS



Sales Management

.     Implemented the launch of the Co-Mag Marketing Group national part
time merchandising program.  Hired and trained 13 part time merchandisers
for the Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Youngstown, markets. Merchandisers visited
325 high volume accounts on a weekly basis.

.     Managed seven part time merchandisers in Cleveland, Akron, and
Youngstown markets.  Work with merchandisers monthly, and perform back
check evaluations and annual performance evaluations who visited 190 high
volume accounts on a weekly basis.

.     Communicate weekly with staff.  Review various upcoming magazine
promotions, and informed staff of priority or special assignments.  6 out
of eight merchandisers supervised were awarded the Co-Mag Marketing Group
Merchandiser of the Month award.

.     Reviewed all merchandiser routes quarterly, adjusted merchandiser
assignments to include high volume accounts on their routes. Maintained an
average increase of 4 to 6% sales increase on weekly merchandised accounts.



Placed and maintained auxiliary displays for  high selling issues from
Hearst, Conde Nast and

Marketing / Account Management

.     Managed retail placement and marketing of 250 various titles for
Conde Nast and Heart Publications in Northern Ohio, Western Ohio, Western
Indiana and Southern Michigan.

.     Developed and maintained 100 key territory accounts, including visits
to all stores on a monthly basis and marketing to client regarding
merchandise. Developed and implemented marketing strategies to individual
accounts visited.

.     Met with grocery store management on a quarterly basis to review
sales numbers and review authorized list of magazine titles so chain
carried most current and successful selling publications.

.     Called on all targeted chains and independent accounts to sell an
upgrade of publisher and client titles when needed.

.     Performed role of Magazine Quarterback for grocery chain for their
current checkout rack program.  Assisted in coordination of the magazine
titles on the current program. Responsible for placement of fixtures at
store level.

     Launched and sold in a Regional promotion for Cleveland Magazine in
the Heinen's Chain, increased and maintained units sold for 4 signature
issues for 3 consecutive years (2009 thru 2011).



  Launched and sold in an auxiliary display program featuring one of CMG
Primary Clients Readers Digest Taste of Home Holiday publication. Increased
sales on the title for 5 straight years from

2007 to 2011.



Merchandising

.     Coordinated and placed promotional material for all CMG and client
titles in the top high volume accounts on a weekly basis.

.     Increased magazine inventory 10% annually. Increased sales of 5% to
10% by coordinating and participating in various rack blitzes within and
out of my territory as assigned.

.     Placed, upgraded, and improved display positions for TV Guide
Magazine and its client titles within service area.

    US Weekly National Sales Contest   Winner for most displays placed in
2008.

.     Upgraded all displays within territory sold by our national marketing
department to national chain accounts.



Wholesaler Operations

.     Completed magazine distribution assignments in the Cleveland, Akron,
and Youngstown markets for TV Guide and all client titles on a quarterly
basis. Adjusted Magazine Allotments based on wholesaler sales numbers.

.     Met and reviewed all distribution changes with wholesaler management
regarding magazine inventories at retail level.

.     Conducted field personnel meetings regarding various magazine
promotions including placement of auxiliary floor displays in high volume
accounts.

.     Assisted TV Guide and CMG audits of assigned wholesalers annually.
