SUMMARY
Product/Process Engineer/Project Manager who is proficient in Microsoft
Office applications, Statistical process control and Green belt in Six
Sigma. Highly organized and am able to multi task and prioritize workload.
Very detailed and process oriented and has excellent written and verbal
communication skills. Collect and analyze data. Take direction from several
Engineering groups to assure all products make it to production on time.
Strive for success and easily adapt to change. Drive for excellence when it
comes to problem solving. I enjoy new challenges.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Freescale - Sensors Product Division 2000-2009
Product Engineer
Performed failure analysis of accelerometers (MEMS), pressure sensors and
IC's to find root cause of failure by doing electrical measurements and
deprocessing of device. Worked with all Product Engineers and Design
Engineers to establish ways to make the products more robust by doing
chemical etching, plasma etching, Laser Scanning Microscope (LSM), Scanning
Electron Microscope (SEM), EDS, cross-sections, polishing of devices,
planar grind, X-Rays and electrical measurements using Lab View. Worked
with Quality Failure Analysis team to reduce customer quality reduction and
cycle time. Supported New Products Introduction to achieve 90% of new products with
0ppm automotive, 30 ppm consumer. Analyzed failure of qualification
failures collect the data and review it with the design team to correct the
failure before release to production. Created ways to remove stops, Poly 2
and 3 plates to look for abnormally on surface and backside. Trained
Failure Analysis Engineers on procedure. Wrote procedure on the removal of
stops, Poly 2 and Poly 3 plates. Invented a way to remove Sifel gel off of
the top of diaphragm of pressure sensors. Wrote new policies and procedures
and documented for all Failure Analysis Engineers to be able to perform the
removal of Sifel gel.
Motorola - External Manufacturing 1998-2000
Project Manager
Directed Motorola's External Manufacturing Team for the transfer of product
lines from Motorola to foundry. Ensured that foundry was up and running
with all processes to assure customers that there would be no delay in
shipments of parts.
Motorola - Process Engineer 1994-1998
Phoenix Corporate Research Laboratories
Facilitator of the operation and control of Phoenix Corporate Research
Laboratories Ion Implanter and Rapid Thermal Anneal (RTA) Process sectors.
Monitor and run process controls to insure compliance of machines to
desired process specification. Assist in the designing, improvement and
incorporation of Statistical Process Control (SPC's) for the two
operations. Perform schedule process maintenance such as Ion implant source
change and Rapid Thermal Anneal (RTA) calibrations. Wrote documents and
modify processes as required for both areas. Rebuild sources to facilitate
species change over and control cross contamination. Worked on the start up
of MRAM.
Motorola - Phoenix Corporate Research Laboratories 1991-1994
Senior Process Technician
Involved in development of X-Ray mask, including SEM inspection, resist
deposition, E-Beam writing and gold electroplating.
Motorola - Senior Device Technician 1983-1991
Advanced Technology Center
Supervised the development of BIMOS 2 and 3 particularly in the area of
gate photo and rie of polycide layers.
Motorola - Advanced Product Research and Development Laboratories 1979-1983
Device Technician
Supervised the processing of new EPROM/EEPROM mask sets and evaluate new or
special operations required in the processing of experiments. Processed
experimental HMOS 3 material, including the deposition and patterning of
Moly/Poly silicon gate materials and polyimide interlayer dielectric
deposition and photo resist patterning.
