SYSTEMS ENGINEERS (multiple openings) (Job code SYSE-24)

Design systems architecture and system infrastructure. Perform system engineering and system integration. Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture. Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems and systems or network issues. Confer with clients to understand and analyze system requirements, document design specifications, provide technical guidance on system design concepts or design changes, develop components. Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components. Automate and improve existing processes and systems. Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs. Test systems, verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes, troubleshoot system problems, resolve technical issues, generate reports, provide technical support, etc.

***REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering/IT Management, Science, any Engineering or related fields required. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated locations in U.S. required.
