Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in our Dublin office:



Administrator 12 Month Fixed Term Contract



What can you expect:


The Scheme Transition Unit Administration team currently deals with a large number of projects. These projects range from working on the wind up of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Pension Schemes, dealing with Pensioner Verification Exercises and also Deferred Verification Exercises. The overall team size is more than 8, with some team members located offshore. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work as part of the Scheme Transition Unit team to provide a high quality and fully compliant standard of service to our clients and to work on new projects that will be coming in the future. This opportunity would mean working with the team to ensure projects are completed in agreed timeframes.

We will rely on you to:

Administer a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Monitor and track task completion within agreed timelines.
Liaise with offshore colleagues to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Collaborate with other team members and other departments to ensure project completion as per agreed terms.
Complete mail merge exercises ensuring all data is fully checked and manage responses from the forms completed.
Setting up and managing Share Point List for various data projects.
Completing reconcilaitions when necessary and collating Management Information data as required.
Data Analysis as required on projects.
Collate data for upload to the Mercer administration system.
Speaking with customers on the phone and dealing with their queries when necessary.


What you will need to have:

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to take ownership of work.
Ability to skill up on technology quickly.
Polite phone manner, strong and effective verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including working with formulas, pivot tables, and V look-ups and MS Word.


What makes you stand out:

Pensions administration experience in a consultancy firm, brokerage, life office or working on an in-house scheme (desirable).
Challenges the status quo in search for efficiencies (desirable).
Project management experience.
Experience on dealing with data and analysis of same.
SharePoint and Qualtrics experience.
